2. Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you open it, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and device information, and your browser's language setting, which we use to send you to the matching language version. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in delivering the website securely and quickly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and a data processing agreement is in place. The data are kept only as long as operation and security require.
3. Cookies, fonts and tracking
We use no analytics, tracking or marketing tools. Fonts and scripts load from our own server, not from third parties. Only when you choose a language in the language menu do we store that choice in a cookie called "lang" (valid for 12 months), so you see the same language on your next visit. This cookie is strictly necessary for the function you asked for (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG) and contains no personal data.
4. Contact form
When you use the contact form, we process what you enter (the services you pick, name, email address and, if you add them, phone number, business or website and message) plus the page language, in order to answer your request. The details are passed through a function at Cloudflare to the email service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA), which delivers them as an email to our mailbox at Google Workspace (Google Cloud EMEA Ltd., Dublin, Ireland). If sending is not possible, your own email app opens with the request filled in instead. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering requests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where data are transferred to the USA, this is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses. We delete your request once it is dealt with, unless statutory retention duties apply (for example if it leads to an order).
5. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to handle the request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Emails are received and stored through Google Workspace (Google Cloud EMEA Ltd., Dublin, Ireland).
6. Links to other websites
This website links to our clients' websites. Data are sent to the provider of such a site only once you click the link, and that provider is responsible for its own processing.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Just use the contact details above. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
